Lead Advisor: Mr. Trombello
The Goal: A massive, cross-ranch trek around the 70-mile range. We will cross the ranch from South to North (or vice versa), hitting the most iconic peaks Philmont has to offer (eg. Tooth of Time and Mt. Baldy).
Trek Highlights:
Sunrise hike to the summit of Mt. Baldy, followed by a traverse down the stunning Northern Ridgeline.
Hike the Tooth of Time.
Camping at the famous Dean Skyline with 270 degree views.
Physical Expectations: Scouts and advisors should be in top physical condition and have extensive backpacking experience (Likley being Philmont alumnis)
Expect 6:00 AM wake-up calls. Tents must be down, packed, and the crew out of camp in under 45 minutes.
